Last week, another BJJ gym closed in our province. Earlier this year, a gym owned by a famous Muay Thai competitor also shut its doors. These closures often go unnoticed, but each one breaks my heart, especially knowing how hard these individuals have worked to master their craft.

I’ve been fortunate to be raised in the martial arts business for the past 24 years. While the industry constantly evolves, some things remain the same.
